Farmer Training and Extension Activities: Recognizing the importance of educating farmers, the department engages in training programs to disseminate knowledge on animal health management, nutrition, and disease prevention. These initiatives empower farmers with practical skills to enhance livestock productivity and implement effective health management practices.
• Advisory Services: Through farm advisory services, the department provides personalized guidance to farmers, addressing specific concerns related to animal health and nutrition. This support helps in optimizing feeding practices and improving reproductive performance.
• Collaboration with Farmers: By maintaining close interactions with the farming community, the department ensures that its research and extension activities are aligned with the actual needs of farmers. This collaborative approach facilitates the adoption of innovative practices and technologies that are both practical and beneficial for livestock management.
