Major Achievements:
  1. I have gained experience in histopathological slide reading of Carcinogenicity studies which appreciated by Cancer Specialist Late Dr.  K. R. Parthsarthi, Rtd., Professor and Head of Pathology, TANUVAS, Chennai.
  2. I developed novel slide projector for histopathological slide for UG & PG curriculum .
  3. I prepared interactive CD ROM teaching materials for Veterinary graduate and postgraduate which contains multimedia (Animation, Web designing and PowerPoint Presentation).
  4. I prepared histology Color Poster Lab and Histilogy Movie Portal for UG and PG students.
  5. We complied the Historical control Data on Spontaneous Neoplasm in Swiss Albino Mice data from Carcinogenicity studies performed at Jai Research Foundation over several years.

Responsible for undergraduate and post graduate teaching in the subject of veterinary pathology for various courses as specified by VCI and ICAR norms. Look in to routine laboratory investigations and disease diagnostic activities by histopathology, clinical pathology and post mortem examinations. Execute research schemes, experimental assignments, collaborative projects and clinical trials of pharmaceutical companies, CRO’s and funding agencies.

The major focus of my M.V.Sc. research project was to study the effect of combined toxicity of aflatoxin and ochratoxin in broilers, on general performance along with clinical, haemato-biochemical, gross and histopathological changes with effectiveness of dietary concentration of Probiotic containing yeast culture of Sacchromyces boulardii @ 10 mg/kg of feed against mycotoxins. The trial was conducted and submitted the thesis to Maharashtra Animal & Fisheries SciencesUniversity with thesis entitled -“Toxicopathology of combined effect of Aflatoxin and Ochratoxin in relation to efficacy of probiotics (Sacchromycus boulardii) in Broilers”.
